An award is something given to a person in recognition of his excellence in a certain field. Teaching Excellence Awards 2018 (TEA – 2018) was an effort of MT Research and Educational Services (MTRES) in association with Buzzingg and Indian Achievers Story to recognition the best teachers (Nation Builders) for their special contribution in the respective domain. Meet one of the awardees, Ms. Bhavna Batra, who has been honoured with TEA-2018 as Promising Teacher.

Ms. Bhavna Batra is a potent name in the list of successful personalities. An academician with an embellished and fortified experience of more than 13 years of legal teaching is currently working with Amity Law School Noida, Amity University Uttar Pradesh. She is an alumni of Miranda House Delhi University, LLB Graduate from Faculty of Law, Delhi University and completed her Masters in Law from Jamia Milia Islamia University. She received the accolade of the Best Student Award in LLB Examination 2003 and strived hard to receive twin gold medals in LLB & LLM University Examinations. She was also honoured with a merit scholarship in 2005 from HRD Ministry.

Success doesn’t lie in results but in efforts, being the best is not so important, doing the best is all that matters.

She has intense passion towards mooting in the law school and organizes the Moot Court Competitions with high spirits and ecstasy. She was also acknowledged as the Deputy National Administrator for the 59th Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition Indian Qualifying Rounds in 2018. Determination and enthusiasm are visible in all her steps to ensure perfection and poise in all her academic and co-curricular tasks. She has embarked major contributions in research areas and published more than 25 research papers in different National and International Legal and Multidisciplinary Journals.

She has also travelled aboard to the attend a two-week legal base training programme in Kunming, China in December 2016 and also visited China University of Political Science and Law to build a nexus between Amity University and CUPL in December 2017. We feel proud to mention that she has command over her subjects and has attended many national and international conferences to widen the horizons of knowledge. She follows the motto of “Keeping one eye on vision and other on implementation and dreams high to escalate the path of glory”.
